Seth finished most of the living room before my sister and bil came to stay. Here it is in it's dust free cleanliness! We still have trim on the staircase side and the staircase to paint. Should not be as big a mess. I hope.
Here, for my daughter Alex, is a picture of our dog Nicky.

SUPER SWEET!!!!!! I absolutely LOVE the lights (and the doggy too). One request.... PLEASE turn off the silly date/time stamp thing on your camera! to me, they always ruin perfectly good pictures!
ReplyDeleteLovely! So open and airy. You must feel good about it being done- or almost done!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being almost done. It looks lovely and open. I bet Nicky is also really glad that it is now dust free.
ReplyDeleteWow! Your living/dining room area is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely. Airy and spacious with lots of light. Love your dog.
ReplyDeleteAWWWW MISTER NICKY!!! He is so cute. ~Stares some more~. I love the new lights. Do they also work on the fader? Did Dad do teh wiring himself? Major kudos if he did. The house looks great and peaceful. The pictures make me miss home a bit! Korea is lovely but very cramped.
ReplyDeleteWhen we first saw the house it was a rainy, dreary day and we walked in and it was light and airy. I was sold. It was the closest we could come to a modern house without building it ourselves. Everything else we saw was very traditional and we are not into traditional architecture. The outside is contemporary barn in style, not ultra modern, but not a colonial or a pastiche of several centuries of architecture.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! I could move in today!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I've said this before, but WOW - what a great place to live...and so artistic looking and being - it's been fun to watch the transition...but please don't stop posting pictures - maybe seasonal changes!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with ClaireOKC though possibly (definitely) for different reasons. I love seeing home when I'm so far away. ESPECIALLY when pictures of Mister Nicky are included.
ReplyDeleteYou could add a mat or rug at the doorway that traps dust like a coco mat
